Encouragement and support for Zeta Phi Beta from Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated has always been strong. It all began when Charles R. Taylor and Langston Taylor, members of the fraternity, encouraged Zeta’s five founders to establish a sister organization to the fraternity. Since then, members of Zeta Phi Beta and Phi Beta Sigma have successfully collaborated on community service projects, sponsored activities ranging from the local to national level, and shared a purposeful bond that is unlike that of any other organization.
The Immortal Iota Rho chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded at the University of Central Florida on June 8, 1978.
